I guess I am safe since I do not use the headphones that come with the iPod *wink*

The headphones the iPod came with are terrible. I'm no audiophile or anything but the sound quality is just horrendous! Apple ought to do something about that. Heck, sell the iPod without the headphones!

    I use the lanyard style headphones. I still don't listen to them all that often. Even then I just use them at a low reasonable level. I guess lucky for me then that I don't use mine all that much. But I do use it for my car audio. Makes more sense to use it in the car where you might get the most use out of it.
